HipHen Uniques was a cherished antique store, known for its rare collectibles and vintage items. A local favorite for years, it was a hub for collectors and community members until it was devastated by Huricane Helene.
Today, HipHen Uniques has partnered with the community to transform into the Bat Cave Relief Distribution Hub, where they coordinate volunteer efforts to aid in local recovery. By leveraging its space and resources, the store now serves as a center for donations, supplies, and volunteer coordination, helping rebuild and support affected families. This new chapter reflects HipHen's commitment to the community's resilience and collective rebuilding efforts.
What does Bat Cave Disaster Relief Provide?
Bat Cave Disaster Relief provides the community with food, clothing, personal and household goods, outdoor supplies and much more at no cost.
Free Shower and Laundromat Services: A Laundry/Shower trailer is on site at Bat Cave Disaster Relief at all times. Trailer is manned by a volunteer who is in charge of cleaning/sanitizing and stocking the showers, as well as running loads of laundry for those that need it. Clean Porta Potties on premises as well.
Fuel and Other Resources
Bat Cave Disaster Relief provides fuel to the community to ensure reliable transportation and access to energy for daily needs through effective storage, distribution, and management. Propane, Diesel, Gasoline, and fuel mixes for equipment are available.
After a disaster, heavy equipment and operators are vital for clearing debris, repairing infrastructure, and supporting recovery efforts. We can help coordinate your recover effort.
We can help with road cleanup, removal of fallen trees, clearing roads and restoring access to affected areas.
We offer much needed mechanic work including essential vehicle repair and maintenance services to ensure safety, reliability and proper functioning of transportation within the community.
